Senior Mechanical Engineer

📋 Description

• Mechanical lead for Loft missions
• Develop, maintain, and own mechanical analysis budgets
• Create and maintain detailed drawings and 3D CAD models
• Conduct inspections and reviews of engineering documents and hardware
• Perform structural and thermal analysis of small payloads and spacecraft
• Oversee spacecraft-level structural and thermal analysis

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• 5+ years in spacecraft subsystems, payloads, and structural design
• Deep understanding of GD&T and tolerance analysis
• Proficiency with SolidWorks
• Pragmatic vibration testing experience
• Spacecraft-level FEA experience (ANSYS, Nastran, Patran)
