Senior Mechanical Engineer

📋 Description

• Mechanical Lead for Loft Missions
• Develop, maintain, and own mechanical analysis budgets
• Create and maintain detailed drawings and 3D CAD models
• Conduct inspections and reviews of documents and hardware
• Perform structural and thermal analysis of payloads and spacecraft
• Oversee spacecraft-level structural and thermal analysis

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• 5+ years in spacecraft subsystems, payloads, and vehicle mechanical design
• Detailed understanding of GD&T and tolerance analysis
• Proficiency with Solidworks or similar CAD software
• Pragmatic vibration testing experience
• Spacecraft-level FEA with solver/pre/post packages (FEMAP/Patran/NASTRAN/ANSYS)
