Senior Engineer, Autonomy ML Systems

📋 Description

• Define, prototype, and validate advanced metrics for autonomy subsystems.
• Assess training/testing coverage; curate test sets across deployment domains.
• Evaluate ML model performance against these metrics and tests.
• Assess system-level performance via large-scale data analysis of road and sim events.
• Define performance requirements for autonomy subsystems and analyses to establish targets.
• Coordinate subsystem-level evaluation with other system-level testing for safety case.

🎯 Requirements

• Cross-functional, self-starting engineer across systems/autonomy.
• 5+ years in safety-critical systems or robotics.
• Master’s degree or Bachelor’s with significant in-field experience.
• Skilled Python developer with large-scale data for ML.
• Experience designing metrics to capture key system behavior.
• Knowledge of C++, applied to safety-critical systems.
