Senior Electrical Engineer, Sustaining

📋 Description

• Update in-market circuit designs to address obsolescence and post-launch improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to own electronics maintenance post-launch lifecycle.
• Verify components and circuits using lab tools (oscilloscopes, power supplies, DMMs).
• Debug, failure analysis, and rework of electronic systems; coordinate CT scans as needed.
• Use OrCAD to modify embedded mixed-signal circuitry (high voltage, microcontrollers, batteries).
• Partner with PCB Design engineers to implement PCB layout updates using Allegro.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
• Six years of electronics design and sustaining for mass-produced handheld devices.
• Expertise in component selection and design changes to address obsolescence and improve supply chain.
• Proficient in updating BOMs, schematics, and layouts to support product changes; Cadence/OrCAD experience preferred.
• Hands-on verification and failure analysis using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters) and rework coordination.
• RF integration and test experience (BLE, WiFi).
