Satellite Systems Engineer

📋 Description

• Represent Loft in technical discussions for customer missions and payloads.
• Serve as internal payload SME, coordinating hardware and software for end-to-end integration.
• Collaborate with flight ops to develop mission CONOPS and SLAs with customers.
• Assist program and product mgmt; interface with customers on programmatic and schedule matters.
• Review test plans/results and participate in integration, test campaigns, launch and in-orbit activities.
• Support rideshare missions; contribute to budgets, V&V planning, CONOPS, AIT, and on-orbit ops.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years as spacecraft systems engineer or experience in two subsystems (ADCS, Mechanical, Thermal, Power, OBC & Software).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Challenges aerospace norms; fast-paced development experience.
• Experience in small-satellite assembly, integration & test or delivery to orbit.
• Handle pressure well; hands-on when needed.
