Satellite Systems Engineer

📋 Description

• Represent Loft in technical discussions to fly payloads.
• Act as internal payload SME, interfacing with hardware/software.
• Work with flight ops to develop CONOPS and SLAs.
• Assist with program/product management and schedules.
• Review test plans/results; participate in integration, test, launch.
• Support rideshare missions: budgets, V&V, CONOPS, AIT, ops.

🎯 Requirements

• >2 yrs as spacecraft systems engineer or two subsystems (ADCS/Power/Mechanical)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Challenge norms in aerospace; fast-paced development
• Experience in small satellite assembly, integration and test
• Hands-on; able to handle pressure
• Nice-to-have: Python and Jupyter for analysis
