This team is directly responsible for growth of Recharges & Utilities.
About the Role:
Ideal Candidate should be able to:
•Collaborate with national, regional and local governments to enhance Paytm’s presence in the travel and Government sectors
•Identify, pitch, and secure new accounts for the Travel category of Paytm
•Ensure retention of all existing accounts and their associated product portfolio
•Drive cross-selling and upselling initiatives for other Paytm Payment products like EDC, Sound boxes, Payment Gateways etc
•Develop a comprehensive strategic account plan for each key client, outlining revenue goals, product penetration, and long-term partnership vision.
•Lead the entire sales cycle, from initial engagement and needs assessment to proposal submission and contract negotiations
•Act as the single point of contact between the client and internal Paytm teams (Product, Technology, Legal, Operations) to ensure seamless solution design and deployments.
Experience Required –
•8+ years of B2B/Enterprise sales experience, with a background in managing Government/travel segment clients
•In-depth understanding of government procurement cycles, tender processes (RFP/RFQ), and contracting mechanisms.
•Exceptional presentation, communication, and complex negotiation skills; ability to interact confidently with CXO-level and senior bureaucratic stakeholders.
•Self-driven, results-oriented professional with a hunter mentality for large-ticket deals.
Education:
•Bachelor's degree (MBA/Post-Graduate preferred).
