- Partner with SCQR leaders to identify AI opportunities that reduce toil and accelerate decisions.
- Design and build AI agents, RAG pipelines, and MCP server integrations against Zoox data.
- Ship production-ready tools the SCQR team will actually use daily.
- Run coaching sessions and documentation to enable SCQR to extend and maintain tools.
- Develop reusable components, patterns, and playbooks to scale impact.
- Present progress, impact, and priorities to SCQR leadership on cadence.
🎯 Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in CS, CE, EE, ML, or related field, in a co-op program.
- Able to commit to a minimum 12-week co-op term.
- Experience building agentic AI systems: function calling, tool use, multi-step planning.
- Experience with at least two of: RAG, fine-tuning (LoRA/SFT), MCP server development, prod-scale prompt engineering.
- Fluency in Python and experience with at least one LLM provider API (OpenAI or Anthropic).
- Strong written and verbal communication to explain technical work to non-technical stakeholders.
