The Social Media Content Creator & Community Manager at Monks will be responsible for leading the creative and conversational presence for a big clientin Brazil. This hybrid role blends creativity, cultural understanding, and social strategy developing content that amplifies both brands’ voices and strengthens their connection with Brazilian audiences.

The professional will be responsible for crafting engaging social content, managing daily community interactions, and collaborating with cross-market teams to ensure brand consistency, creativity, and local relevance.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Strategy

  • Develop and produce platform-specific content (videos, static posts, carousels, memes, stories, reels, and motion assets) that promote series, films, and cultural moments relevant to our client.
  • Adapt and localize global and regional assets to fit the Brazilian cultural context, language, and humor, maintaining each brand’s tone of voice:
    • premium, cinematic, and storytelling-driven.
    • spontaneous, accessible, and entertainment-focused.
  • Collaborate with creative, strategy, and account teams to align on campaign objectives and ensure delivery of high-quality, on-brand content.
  • Ideate and execute real-time content tied to premieres, entertainment news, and trending topics on Brazilian social media.
  • Manage the monthly editorial calendar and ensure consistent posting rhythm across key platforms (Instagram, X, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube).
  • Total of average of posts per month 100% created by Monks. Plus the additional posts that we receive are done but it needs adaptation or localization.

Community Management & Engagement

  • Manage daily community engagement across both brands’ social media channels, responding to comments and messages with the right tone, speed, and creativity.
  • Build genuine relationships with followers, fan communities, and entertainment influencers, reinforcing each brand’s voice and connection to fans.
  • Identify trending conversations and fan insights to help shape future content and engagement strategies.
  • Support on-the-ground social coverage for local activations and events, such as premieres, stunts, or CCXP.
  • Responsible for implementation of all the tags we need to add on contents.

Performance & Insights

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement, reach, and sentiment to optimize future content.
  • Partner with data and strategy teams to analyze metrics and extract actionable insights from tools like Sprinklr or native platform analytics.
  • Be crucial key people to contribute to weekly, monthly and QBR reports, presenting highlights, learnings, and optimization recommendations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate daily with the creative team in Argentina, and with the Brazil strategy, data, and account teams to ensure alignment and integrated campaign execution.
  • Maintain strong communication with regional team SPLA, to ensure best practices and cross-market consistency.
  • Participate in regular content reviews, creative presentations, and strategic alignment meetings.
Skills & Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience in social media, content creation, or community management, preferably in entertainment, streaming, or digital agencies.
  • Deep understanding of Brazilian pop culture, humor, and entertainment audience behavior.
  • Strong creative skills in writing, storytelling, and short-form video ideation.
  • Excellent written and spoken Portuguese, with intermediate English for regional alignment.
  • Experience using social media management tools (Sprinklr, Airtable, TikTok Studio, etc.).
  • Knowledge of basic video editing and design tools is a plus (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
