- Own mechanical assembly, test, and integration of sensors and actuators.
- Collaborate with software to deploy End-of-Line testers and calibrations.
- Lead Process PPAP deliverables and Poka-Yoke risk mitigation.
- Design and qualify tooling, gauges; ensure GD&T and MSA compliance.
π― Requirements
- Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- NPI & CM oversight at Tier 1/contract manufacturers.
- Technical ownership of launch cycle from prototype to production.
- Advanced APQP & PPAP: Control Plans, Process Flows, Gage R&R; DV to PV.
- Proficient with Solidworks for reviewing fixtures, pallets, inspection jigs.
- GD&T & Metrology using CMM/OMM/vision systems.
- 8D RCCA problem solving; ECOs and PLM tools.
- Experience with TIM, torque, sensor calibration.
- Present manufacturing readiness with data-driven insights for Phase 4.
- Bonus qualifications: automotive/aerospace/AV/EV exposure; CQE or Six Sigma.
