The Logistics Specialist is responsible for ensuring the smooth planning, execution, and

documentation of inbound and outbound shipments. This role requires deep familiarity with

customs, compliance, and aerospace-grade handling, while closely coordinating with cross-

functional teams such as procurement, production, and external brokers. The ideal candidate is

detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, regulated environment

About This Role:

  • Plan, execute, and track all inbound and outbound shipments
  • Manage delivery timelines and proactively flag any delays
  • Ensure packaging meets compliance for fragile and sensitive hardware
  • Maintain shipment logs, documentation records, and cost reports
  • Coordinate closely with procurement and production on shipment scheduling
  • Handle discrepancy resolution and insurance claims (where relevant)
  • Interface with customs brokers and logistics providers for timely clearance
  • Prepare shipping documentation and ensure compliance for export/import

    • Must Haves:

  • 5+ years of logistics experience in aerospace, defense, or high-value hardware
  • Expert-level knowledge of shipping documentation and Incoterms
  • Hands-on experience with customs regulations in UAE, Europe, and the US
  • Familiarity with freight classification, HTS codes, CoO, dual-use or export control
  • Detail-oriented, safety-focused, proactive communicator with strong discipline and willingness to learn
  • Strong stakeholder and vendor coordination skills

    • Nice to Haves:

  • Understanding of ITAR, EAR, or UAE export control equivalents
  • Familiarity with space industry logistics or similar regulated goods
  • Exposure to ERP systems like NetSuite for ASN or shipping coordination
  • Ability to evaluate and improve freight vendor performance
  • Familiarity with UAE warehouse regulatory norms
