GIS Solutions Analyst

📋 Description

• Web Application Development: Design and develop custom GIS web applications and self-service tools for Latitude engineers and leadership.
• Experience Builder & Custom Widgets: Build and extend ArcGIS Experience Builder apps with custom widgets and components; integrate turnkey solutions with custom code.
• UX & Interface Design: Create intuitive, performant UI for geospatial data exploration and analysis; translate complex workflows into accessible features.
• Portal Management & UI Standards: Architect and manage a centralized GIS portal; establish reusable UI components and frontend best practices.
• API & Backend Integration: Integrate web apps with GIS services, APIs, and data pipelines; connect geoprocessing services to front-end widgets.
• Collaboration: Work with GIS Services, Product Managers, Engineers, and Executives to deliver end-to-end experiences.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with two years of employment experience; or an Associate’s with four years; or HS Diploma/GED with six years.
• ArcGIS Maps SDK (JavaScript/TypeScript); familiarity with Mapbox GL JS or Leaflet is a plus.
• Front-end development: JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3; modern frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
• Python and SQL for data preparation, querying, and geoprocessing script integration.
• Experience deploying and maintaining Esri WebGIS Enterprise Architecture (custom WebApps/Experiences).
• Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS Pro or QGIS.
