The Sales Development Representative is a launching path for a career at G2. The opportunity allows for individuals to fine-tune their communication skills by conducting initial contact and engaging with professionals in the software industry. The ideal candidate has experience with keeping CRM records up-to-date, handling inbound demo requests, using tools such as LinkedIn and ZoomInfo to prospect, and cold calling. Since this team will be managing US customers out of India, this role will require you to work in US shifts and collaborate closely with your global counterparts. This role is expected to begin with a full-time, five-day workweek to support the team's initial ramp-up. Once the team is fully operational, the position will transition to a hybrid work model
Pipeline Development:
Lead Management: Respond to all incoming G2 leads and inquiries and to generate sales pipeline through outbound emails, calls, and LinkedIn messaging.
Customer Support: Assist prospective customers with queries about joining, listing their business, and proper profile categorization on G2.
Meeting Scheduling: Book demonstrations and deeper dive meetings with Account Executive teams for prospects interested in G2 subscriptions.
Lead Nurturing: Follow up with existing inbound leads who have not yet responded.
Vendor Onboarding & Optimization: Help new vendors get added to G2, gain access to manage their profiles, and optimize them for better performance.
Engagement Campaigns (Free Users): Run campaigns targeting vendors not managing their pages, encouraging them to gain access and utilize G2’s free subscription.
Engagement Campaigns (Paid Users): Conduct targeted email campaigns for vendors managing their G2 profiles, promoting further learning about G2 and scheduling meetings with the Business Development team.
Reporting: Generate reports on inbound lead statistics, meeting conversion rates, and email campaign performance.
Attendee Recruitment:
Help with targeted audience building for events recruitment
Execute email campaigns and cold calls to potential attendees

1 - 3 years of sales or related experience
Experience with prospecting, cold calling, or equivalent
Outstanding presentation and communication skills
A motivated and goal-oriented personality with a self-starting attitude
Organized with good time management skills
The ability to learn quickly and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Experience in SaaS industry
Experience selling Martech
