Role overview

Given our exciting and progressive growth plans, we are looking for a

Senior iOS Engineer to come join our global business.

Reporting directly to the

Head of Engineering and working collaboratively with Principal and Staff Engineers, you will be accountable for development of the greenfield iOS marketplace app. We are migrating our previous hybrid stack into native to incorporate the best look, feel and usability.

Key accountabilities

Development of the best in class marketplace app

Tailor best class UI/UX along with animations, transitions, responsiveness and quality

Build user interface in SwiftUI along with UIKit

Use the latest APIs, as we target iOS 15+!

Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation

Contribute to a healthy engineering culture of feedback and growth

Migrate existing CapacitorJS application to fully native app

Develop unit and UI tests to ensure the best quality

Skills, experience & qualifications required

6+ years of experience as an iOS engineer

Attention to detail, animations and transitions

Understanding of the native platform UI/UX patterns

Expert knowledge of Swift and familiarity with Objective-C

Excellent knowledge of UIKit, SwiftUI, Combine

SPM, Cocoapods

Experience in Unit and UI testing

AppStore Connect, TestFlight, familiarity with AppStore guidelines, Firebase

Deep Linking, reusable screens and navigation

Excellent communication skills

Nice to have

Understanding of JavaScript / Typescript and NodeJS

Interview Process

Screen call - with a member from the Talent Team - 30-60 minutes

1st stage - Technical: Video call/in-person interview with the Hiring Manager + an iOS Engineer - Up to 2.5 hours

Final stage - Meet with our CTO - Up to 30 minutes

We aim to complete the entire interview process and deliver feedback within 4 weeks.
