About the position:

Location: Arlington VA/Alpharetta GA/Houston TX (Hybrid: 2-3 days in a week)

This position supports the demand planning area by managing data related to Demand. The consistency and accuracy of this data is crucial since it guides the integrated sales & operations plan.

What You Will Do:

·

Support the Demand planning team on Data preparation to lead the discussion with our internal customers during the Consensus, S&OP and S&OE meetings.

·

Execute and upload Weekly demand reviews, together with the constrains adjustments/decisions, based in Demand planner input.

·

Ensure the system data maintenance (Data cleansing, Preferred site, non-forecastable items etc.) according to S&OP supply decisions.

·

Monitor the order entry as part of the weekly demand review process, analyzing demand signs and market trends. Ensure the proper demand allocation is followed.

·

Learn, understand, and be capable of managing, enhancing, and supporting Finished Goods demand planning and forecasting systems, tools and reports used in developing operational forecasts and demand plans for use in Sales and Operational Planning.

·

Assist and coordinate the cross-functional actions, analyses, and tasks involved in Supply Chain projects with focus on New Product Launches.

·

Collecting data from internal and external sources on factors known to affect demand

·

Obtaining information on occurrences that could impact demand like production delays

·

Gathering updates on vendors, distributors, sales, and other stakeholders that can affect demand

·

Coordinating cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances

·

Interacting with sales, marketing, and finance to understand demand forecast drivers

·

Providing input to the supply planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs

·

Refining systems and methods to improve forecasts to better anticipate customer needs

  • Previous experiencein Supply chain role or/and planning knowledge.
