About the Role:

The

Channel Partner Growth Manager is responsible for developing and managing relationships with Spreedly’s channel partners to drive sales and revenue. They will identify growth opportunities, offer support and training, and manage relationships with our channel partners. The ideal candidate will have experience in channel management, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of the sales process.

This role is open to candidates who currently reside in Greater Montreal, Quebec, and is a hybrid role with the expectation of two days a week to be spent in a coworking space in Montreal.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and onboard new channel partners
  • Manage the performance of existing partners and develop strategies to improve their sales and revenue
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners, and work closely with them to achieve mutual goals
  • Collaborate with the sales team to align sales and channel efforts
  • Monitor industry trends and stay up-to-date on competitors and market conditions
  • Create and manage channel partners' pipeline forecasts
  • Develop and implement channel partner programs, such as training, marketing, and incentives
  • Measure and report on the performance of channel partners, using metrics such as sales and revenue
  • Identify and resolve conflicts and challenges within the channel and their merchants’ escalations
  • Provide support and guidance to partners on product and solution offerings
  • Attendpartner events and conferences to build relationships and promote the company within their merchant’s network
  • Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in channel management or sales, in a SaaS, payments, and/or e-commerce environment
  • Proficiency with a CRM tool (we use Salesforce)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to senior partners and stakeholders
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change
  • A desire to learn and grow in the channel management field
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • Ability to travel, domestically and internationally, at approximately up to 25%
  • As this role will primarily collaborate with partners based out of the US and the UK, fluency in the English language, both written and spoken, is required
