We are seeking a dynamic leader with a business and technology background to manage the strategy and execution of extending the functionality of our core finance solutions.

The Senior Principal Product Manager will be leading the evolutionary journey of eRAM (Enterprise Risk Assessment Manager) and supporting Finance Analytics in key areas.

The Senior Principal Product Manager will leverage solid product management skills, knowledge of technology and product development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Executes on product roadmaps for Dun & Bradstreet’s API solutions including requirements gathering based on client and market input to meet critical revenue objectives.
  • Provides thought leadership in areas of product/application architecture and tools, with a focus in both customer need and the design to support.
  • Innovates the product to include conception, definition, protype and implementation of new product features.
  • Communicates the needs of the user to cross functional team members including UX, business analysts, and engineering.
  • Leads product development including managing the creation of UI/UX wireframes, detailed requirements, and user stories.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams globally including technology, sales, client experience, solution architecture, pricing/finance, sales enablement, marketing and other product teams.
  • Supports go-to-market activities and serves as a product and subject matter expert enabling sales, marketing, and finance teams.
  • Evaluates and recommend potential partner relationships to advance platform product capabilities.
  • Product development and management includes:

  • Defining the eRAM roadmap in collaboration with Technology, Analytics, Sales and other Product team members.
  • Creating the Initial Business Thought around innovative advancements.
  • Shepherding the user stories through D&B’s product development process, from inception to delivery, including executing and managing UAT, creating internal and client communications, and handoff for Go-to-market activities.
  • Supporting Go-to-market efforts, including collaboration with Pricing, Marketing, and Finance teams.
  • Supporting cross-functional teams to resolve issues raised by clients either directly or through sales and support channels.
  • Leveraging insights uncovered about the competitive environment to ensure the product is best positioned relative to the organization’s strategy.
  • Acting as cross functional Project Manager to direct and control the project plan(s) for increasing product revenue.
  • Additional Skills:

  • 15+ years’ of product experience including product strategy, product marketing, product development and product lifecycle management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, technology or related field. MBA strongly preferred.
  • Prior responsibility for leading large or multiple product lifecycles.
  • Deep expertise in accounts receivable management and quote to cash process.
  • Experience researching and identifying product and client issues, to recognize root causes and take appropriate action or recommend possible scenarios to solve problems.
  • Ability to translate client needs into strategy and business requirements, analyze issues and identify areas of opportunity and best path forward.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal & leadership skills with heavy experience in dealing with senior management and all levels including across matrix teams.
  • Champion product strategy by effectively communicating ideas in both written and spoken form to executive staff, business sponsors, managers, and technical resources in clear concise language that is appropriate to the target audience.
  • Ability to lead projects and team members, learn new areas quickly, take ownership of issues/projects, develop recommendations, lead the team and execute on proposal.
  • Extensive project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to lead global cross functional teams.
  • Ability to manage own work plan and schedule to successfully meet goals in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and minimal supervision.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
