The Role

Are you passionate about creating amazing app experiences? We're looking for a dynamic, self-motivated UX Analyst & Researcher to join our Product UX/UI design team.

In this dual role, we understand that you may excel in one area more than the other. We're looking for a well-rounded candidate who can bring strengths in either UX research or UX analytics, with a willingness to grow in the other area.

You'll help us review and build effective, customer-focused solutions by conducting, analyzing, and synthesizing UX research and UX analytics to inform design decisions. This includes ensuring that all research and analytic insights are consistent, fulfill the customer jobs-to-be-done  and adhere to contemporary UI standards.

You’ll be skilled in gathering information, hands-on product use, and conducting customer interviews for selected projects. Your goal will be to provide the product teams qualitative and quantitative data-driven user insights that enhance the user experience. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the nonprofit sector and help thousands of organizations and people in need across the US and the world.

  • Research Documentation: Develop detailed research reports, personas, journey maps, and other documentation to effectively communicate findings and insights.
  • Research for Design Decisions: Leverage insights from Hotjar to inform design decisions before and after implementation, providing comprehensive reports with recommended actions.
  • Reporting and Recommendations: Create thorough reports with actionable suggestions for further improvements based on user research findings.
Product and Team Collaboration
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure research findings inform and support design decisions and product strategies.
  • User Advocacy: Advocate for the user by presenting analytic and research findings and insights to the product team, ensuring the user perspective is considered in all stages of the design process.
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly update and refine research methods and processes based on industry best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience: 3+ years as a UX researcher, analyst, or similar role in a tech or nonprofit environment, accompanied by a portfolio showcasing a range of UX research projects. Experience with SaaS platforms is highly advantageous.

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Computer Science, Computer Technology, Analytics, or a related field.

  • User-Centered: Strong understanding of UX principles, user-centered design processes, interactions, and accessibility standards.
