Director of Internal Communications

📋 Description

• Define and own internal comms strategy, principles, and annual priorities.
• Lead cross-company forums/moments (Parliament, Q&As, ERG town halls); messaging, prep, FAQs.
• Partner with senior leaders on change communications; build cascades and manager toolkits.
• Establish internal comms standards and channel guidance (Slack, memos, live forums).
• Create measurement for internal comms effectiveness; analyze reach, clarity, engagement.
• Build and lead a high-performing internal comms capability; set rhythms and vendor management.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in communications leading internal/employee comms at fast-paced product/tech companies.
• Proven track record building or transforming internal comms strategies; measurable impact.
• Exceptional writing and editing; translate complex strategies into clear messages and toolkits.
• Experience planning and running company-wide forums and change comms with cross-functional partners.
• Strong executive presence and coaching; comfortable preparing senior leaders for high-visibility moments.
• High judgment and discretion; issue management in a public company environment.
