Crowdbotics is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our customer-facing team. This team will build software for our customers leveraging the Crowdbotics platform. The team will own the technical architecture, engineering, and maintenance of the custom software backend and services backbone. Our backend API and services power the Crowdbotics platform that you and our customers use to create applications with minimal coding, initiate and monitor application development projects, and manage all aspects of their application lifecycle.

Responsibilities

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of various software development projects leveraging the Crowdbotics Platform. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong technical background, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, adaptable, and capable of leading cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee project activities from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. 
  • Manage project scope, objectives, and deliverables, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Develop detailed project reporting including project plans, schedules, and status reports, and track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Drive change management and changes to the project scope, schedule, and financials costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
  • Coordinate and manage project resources, including team members, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, providing clear direction and support to team members.
  • Conduct regular project meetings to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Be a first class stakeholder in all parts of planning and executing software development
  • Engage in agile methodology and SDLC and have familiarity with CI/CD and deployment processes.
  • Communicate effectively with remote team members using real-time and asynchronous communications.

Experience and Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager in the software development industry.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
  • Excellent leadership, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to craft messaging for internal, customer and executive audiences.
  • Experience working with remote teams and ability to work independently in a remote setting and as part of a team.
  • PMP, Scrum Master, or relevant certification is a plus.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Crowdbotics Platform a plus.
  • Familiarity with web and mobile application development.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand and discuss concepts, schedules, and milestones.
  • Demonstrated success working with and managing technical, enterprise customers.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong desire to help customers succeed.
  • Previous experience on successful delivery of large enterprise projects for Fortune 100 accounts is a plus.
  • Travel is expected for this role and may average 25% per month based on the assigned customer portfolio.

Although this position is remote, you will need to be available and working during US business hours (9:00am to 5:00pm US)
