About the Opportunity

Contentful is looking for an EMEA Enterprise Field Marketing Manager to join our Growth & Performance marketing team in London. In this role, you will develop marketing programs for the EMEA Enterprise go-to-market team to increase awareness, drive engagement, and build pipeline. Working closely with the sales teams in your region, you will identify target accounts, develop strategy, and execute campaigns in order to support our efforts. 

The successful candidate will be a key player in developing and executing the Enterprise ABM strategy, working with cross-functional teams to create tailored campaigns that engage key accounts and support Contentful’s commitment to build trust and credibility as an enterprise-ready CMS, the role will heavily focus on developing Enterprise programs, driving business growth by building brand awareness and generating marketing leads via multiple marketing channels and field activities. 

What to expect? 
  • Coordinate territory planning and execution with sales & marketing stakeholders to build field marketing program calendars to support our pipeline development
  • Devise and execute targeted marketing strategies, emphasizing enterprise-level brand awareness and precise ABM campaigns to identify and attract high-value accounts
  • Manage all aspects of event and digital-event coordination including strategy, objectives, materials creation, event messaging/marketing, signage, giveaways, contract negotiation, vendor relations, site selection, registration, agenda scheduling, staffing, on-site production and F&B, & logistics.
  • Conduct post-event/campaign evaluations and ROI analysis; report and share results and recommendations with sales team and marketing teams.
  • Strategize, order and deliver promotional items to support sales & events/digital-events in your region
  • Maintain event and campaign documents - budgets, calendars, checklists, run-of-shows, etc.
  • Complete quarterly budget reviews and ROI analysis; pivot strategy to align with findings.
  • Achieve benchmarked ROI metrics by working with the sales and demand generation teams, managing and analyzing campaign data in Salesforce.
  • Successfully prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budgets
What you need to be successful
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of B2B experience driving field marketing efforts within SaaS environment serving an Enterprise audience
  • Familiarity with the B2B technology sales cycle and how to employ full funnel marketing tactics that create & nurture leads, influence pipeline, and drive adoption
  • Proven track record of engaging Enterprise accounts across the EMEA market 
  • Management of ABM events and targeted campaigns, demonstrating a proven ability to develop strategies that resonate and secure high-value engagements
  • Motivated to be an ally to the sales team, working closely with the sales function to collaborate on lead generation activities  
  • Passionate about the role field marketing plays and excited to bring new fresh ideas to Contentful
  • In-depth understanding of demand generation and marketing strategies across EMEA
  • Knowledge of the customer experience landscape is recommended 
  • Ability to develop and deliver cohesive event strategies, including messaging, audience, execution
  • Ability to work independently and in a group setting
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment; ability to multitask and effectively manage time
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Acute attention to detail; demonstrated ability for accuracy and thoroughness
  • Ability to work effectively with internal and external clients
  • Proven negotiation, problem-solving, organization and project management skills
  • Experience handling large budgets
  • Knowledge of Adobe Programs (Photoshop, Illustrator), Marketo and Salesforce is not required but helpful
  • Ability to travel across EMEA is required; some international travel may occur in the future as well.
