The Director of Human Resources will lead the HR function for a dynamic and growing company. This role is essential in shaping our culture, managing talent, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in strategic HR leadership, with expertise in developing and implementing HR strategies, optimizing talent acquisition and development, driving performance management, and ensuring compliance with legal standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic HR Leadership
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies and procedures aligned with company objectives.
  • Proactively assess business needs and provide practical Human Resource solutions to maximize efficiency.
  • Consult on organization structure and job design to facilitate continuous improvement and high-performance workforce development.
  • Develop, monitor, and report on key HR metrics to support strategic decision making and growth planning.
  • Partner with Corporate Communication to plan and execute internal HR communication strategies.
  • Supervise the Human Resources department staff and HR functions.
  • Talent Acquisition and Development:
  • Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention
  • Accountable for talent acquisition and retention strategies, talent development initiatives (including learning & development), fostering employee engagement and optimizing employee recognition. 
  • Direct recruitment efforts to attract, retain and develop top talent across the company.
  • Create and oversee training programs to enhance employee skills and career development.
  • Performance Management
  • Drive a performance and development culture, that fosters a culture of grit, collaboration, and respect.
  • Design, implement and continuously improve performance evaluation process and compensation program.
  • Lean annual merit increase process linked to performance management results.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers on performance-related issues.
  • Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to, and implementation of, all required and appropriate standards, policies, and procedures.
  • In partnership with Legal and Compliance, monitor legislation, regulations, case law, and government enforcement activities relating to substantive legal areas, and provide proactive, strategic advice to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Partner, advise, and collaborate with key teams and stakeholders across the company on relevant matters/issues.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required; Masters degree preferred
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with minimum of 3 years in leadership role
  • Deep knowledge base and familiarity with HR practices, employment law, and regulations
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly preferred
