📋 Description

• Define and execute the vision for the Product & Privacy legal function.
\n
• Provide senior, high-impact legal counsel on Checkr's products.
\n
• Advise on consumer protection, privacy, data protection, and AI laws.
\n
• Develop and deliver forward-looking thought leadership on legal/regulatory trends.
\n
• Partner with Sales/Customer Success on strategic engagements.
\n
• Oversee legal support for enterprise accounts and incident responses.
\n

🎯 Requirements

\n
• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to at least one U.S. bar.
\n
• 10+ years in law with focus on technology, privacy, and product counselling; management.
\n
• Proven ability to provide strategic, sales-facing legal guidance to high-growth tech firms.
\n
• Experience navigating highly regulated products and environments.
\n
• Ability to calibrate risk based on business objectives and product stage.
\n
• Deep knowledge of consumer protection laws and global privacy frameworks, AI implications.
\n
