Brave is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join its engineering team. You will design, develop, and maintain high-performance software for Brave's privacy-focused products, contributing to browser components, security, and distributed systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and maintain software systems in collaboration with cross functional teams
- Build reliable, scalable browser and backend components with a focus on security and privacy
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews
- Collaborate on architecture decisions and best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Strong proficiency in Rust and C++ and experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with distributed systems, performance optimization, and security
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
