Overview

Territory Account Executive at Block. This remote-friendly role focuses on selling Block's payment solutions to merchants within the designated territory, with potential involvement in the Little Rock, AR area as needed. You will build relationships, manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver value to our merchant partners.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business within the assigned territory.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach to contract negotiation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with merchants; understand their business needs and challenges.
  • Develop account plans and accurately forecast pipeline; collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams.
  • Maintain up-to-date CRM data and consistently meet or exceed quota targets.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of B2B sales or account management experience, preferably in territory sales.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and travel as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
