Job Summary
Block is seeking a Manager, Account Management (Food & Beverage) to lead strategic accounts and revenue growth within the Food & Beverage segment for Block's Square platform. This full-time, remote-friendly role is open to candidates in North America.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of Food & Beverage accounts, driving long-term revenue growth.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans, identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers across client organizations, serving as the primary point of contact.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Solutions, Product, Marketing) to deliver value and ensure successful implementations.
- Accurately forecast revenue and maintain a healthy pipeline; meet quarterly targets.
- Travel as needed to meet clients (up to 25%), depending on business needs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of account management or B2B sales experience, preferably in the Food & Beverage sector.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets and building durable client relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to navigate complex enterprise deals and map stakeholders.
- Familiarity with payments, POS, or Square ecosystem is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; education optional.
