Role Overview
The Business Development Associate will play a key role in helping Block identify and qualify new business opportunities, manage an active sales pipeline, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive growth in Europe. Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities for Block's products in Europe.
- Prospect via email, phone, and LinkedIn; manage outreach cadences.
- Build and maintain accurate CRM data; manage pipeline and forecast.
- Partner with marketing to run campaigns and with product teams to tailor solutions.
- Prepare proposals and presentations; coordinate demos and meetings.
- Support onboarding and enablement of new customers.
Requirements
- 1-3 years experience in business development, sales or partnerships (fintech/SaaS preferred).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable with outbound outreach and pipeline management; goal-oriented.
- Data-driven with ability to analyze metrics and convert insights into actions.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent); strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of payments, fintech, or e-commerce industries.
- Prior experience in London or UK markets.
