BenchSci is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented People Operations Coordinator to join our Talent Stream! Reporting to the Team Lead of People Operations, you will support the business by facilitating talent lifecycle processes through our human resources information system (HRIS), Dayforce—playing a vital part in ensuring a smooth employee experience from onboarding to departure. You'll wear many hats: providing administrative support, owning HRIS entry and process documentation, and fostering a positive work environment.

We are looking for someone who, using a people-first mindset and Dayforce experience, will enable BenchSciers company-wide, and actively work to help their peers move with agility.

You Will:

  • Administer key lifecycle events such as profile creation, promotions, leaves, and departures via the HRIS, Dayforce
  • Be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records within the HRIS, partnering with Talent Business Partners (TBPs) and business leaders to collect and update employee information as needed
  • Act as a liaison to partner with Payroll and the Senior HRIS Analyst to ensure proper HRIS entries and processes that meet payroll deadlines and system requirements
  • Create effective process documentation for new and changing HRIS processes for the People Operations team
  • Assist with HRIS reporting both on a monthly cadence, as well as on an ad hoc request basis
  • Provide employment verification letters upon request
  • Support with additional day-to-day lifecycle tasks and projects as needed
  • You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in a Human Resources or administrative role
  • Experience with Dayforce administration and entry as an HRIS
  • Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with colleagues across all levels
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team
  • A passion for creating a positive and supportive work environment
  • Knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements (US, Canada, UK ) is a plus
  • Deep experience with Excel and Google Sheets is a plus
