Our Ways of Working

We have team members located across the United States spanning multiple time zones. This means we put in extra effort to make sure we connect and collaborate in ways that make sense for us. We know how valuable the flexibility of remote work is for our employees. 

We know that personal connection is the foundation for the great work we do together. In order to build those relationships with team members in other cities, we meet with coworkers in person two times a year at a full company offsite and a departmental offsite. These offsites are expected of employees and are great opportunities to meet the people you work with every day and to do some of the work that is much more difficult to do virtually.  In addition to our company and team offsite, this role may require occasional travel to a conference or industry related events so in total, travel could range from 5-10% of the time throughout the year.

What the Role Is

Following our strategic acquisition of a durable medical equipment (DME) company in 2022, Babylist entered the healthcare and wellness industry for the first time. This ambitious new offering opens doors in the healthcare market with the opportunity to offer additional health services and products for people in this life stage.  

As the Senior Product Operations Manager, Babylist Health, you will be responsible for optimizing our operational processes for scale as well as identifying new areas for growth in the business. You will dive deep into the day to day operations, partner with cross functional teams and develop a deep understanding of the payer/provider space to scale opportunities for growth. Reporting to the GM, Babylist Health, you will work with a large cross functional team and run point on meaningful projects that will increase efficiency and growth of the business, and most importantly, allow us to positively impact more patients in this life stage.

Who You Are

  • 7+ years of experience working in product operations in a high growth environment
  • Recent experience working on a business with complicated operational processes
  • Demonstrated track record of owning a project from inception to delivery including creating a project plan, aligning cross functional stakeholders and identifying/meeting milestones and key KPIs
  • Analytical thinker and can dive deep into data to answer questions and spot opportunities
  • Knowledge of the breast pump and lactation space is a plus
  • A deep understanding of how to track and measure success of programs via tools like Sigma (or other relevant systems) and ability to create dynamic dashboards (i.e basic modeling in Excel) for streamlined data interpretation and decision-making
  • Knowledge and awareness on privacy and HIPAA guidelines is a plus
  • Can creatively A/B test to determine the best way to operationalize and scale a new tactic or growth opportunity 
  • Ability and willingness to get into the weeds to create policies, procedures and new ways of working 
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills for a variety of audiences
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously & collaboratively to find direction in ambiguity and complexity
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Improve operational efficiency of Babylist Health across multiple product lines and service areas 
  • Build customer facing and internal policies and procedures resulting in a delightful customer experience further cementing Babylist Health in the DME space
  • Identify and execute on strategic growth projects expanding the audience we serve as well as the value we bring to them
  • Build strategic partnerships with third party benefit administrators, health systems, and corporations to create awareness and adoption of Babylist Health 
  • Own the roadmap and prioritization matrix for growth driving operational projects on Babylist Health 
  • Measure, analyze and report out performance of various initiatives and tactics to determine what is resonating with our audience, where we are seeing positive results, and what we should change
  • Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events to make contacts, find potential leads and opportunities to increase growth on Babylist Health
  • Collaborate with many teams across the business to find solutions, brainstorm new ideas, and create and maintain key partnerships

Babylist takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location.

Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.

The estimated pay range for this role is $141,600.00 - $212,400.00

In addition, Babylist offers equity, bonus, and benefits, including company paid health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies.
