Fullstack UX Software Engineer, Map Creation Systems

📋 Description

• Lead the feature lifecycle for our mapping system from design to UI and backend.
• Architect and develop geospatial backend services and data pipelines.
• Build responsive web apps translating complex datasets into UI products.
• Influence technical direction; mentor engineers through design reviews.
• Ensure code quality via reviews for web and backend codebases.
• Partner with cross-team and operations stakeholders to improve mapping efficiency.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of experience delivering complex software features end-to-end.
• Full-stack expertise: backend services and WebGL UIs with Vanilla JS/TS and React/Angular.
• API design, Python geospatial algorithms, and cloud/DevOps (AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD).
• Strong UX sense and attention to detail to ensure UI matches design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration; strong product ownership.

Desirable Qualifications

• UX design for safety-critical or mission-critical apps.
• Experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or related systems.
• Proven ability to scale workflows and pipelines.

🎁 Benefits

• Base salary range: $146K-$211.5K per year.
