Applied Data Scientist

📋 Description

• Collaborate with teams to analyze autonomy system performance across Waabi World, Track, and Road testing.
• Develop and maintain cross-modal dashboards for unified system performance.
• Partner with Data Platform and Evaluation teams to evolve tooling and pipelines for scalable validation.
• Act as a key partner to Safety and Autonomy teams to ensure reporting captures KPI requirements.
• Proactively monitor anomalies to ensure decisions are based on reliable data.
• Role sits at the intersection of Evaluation, Systems, Safety, and Autonomy.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in an analytical role (Data Science, Systems Evaluation, or Product Analytics).
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Physics, or similar.
• Strong SQL; Python for data manipulation and prototyping.
• Experience building automated dashboards with BI tools or frameworks.
• Experience working with internal cross-functional partners.
• Open-minded, collaborative team player passionate about self-driving tech.
