AnaVation is currently seeking a Proposal Technical Writer/Solutioner to join our Business Development Team! This position will be a remote position – working part-time in our Chantilly, VA office and part-time remote, as proposal needs require. In this role you will be responsible for the development, planning, and writing of compliant and compelling proposal, white paper, and other content. As a key member of the proposal team, you will support AnaVation Capture Managers and Proposal Managers in the planning and development of proposal win themes, and identification of discriminators, benefits, and key features of solutions on proposals.

Duties Include But Are Not Limited To:

•Serve as Volume Lead and/or Lead Writer for Technical, Management, and Past Performance Volumes of classified and non-classified proposals across all AnaVation accounts and technical capabilities. Hands-on experience in developing technical sections of federal proposals is a key requirement for this position

•Develop RFI and White Paper responses

•Work closely with Engineers and Subject Matter Experts and operations staff to collect data required for the development of Technical Volumes.

•Write, edit, and revise proposal materials and coordinate with technical and program personnel to ensure accuracy.

•Analyze RFP/RFI requirements and participate in solution meetings.

•Participate in color team reviews.

•Participate in the continuing quality improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Technical/Scientific/Engineering Disciplines, Business Administration, English, Journalism, or a related technical or business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience

5+ years of technical writing for a government contractor or equivalent technical experience.

Experience as a Volume Lead, Book Boss, or Lead Technical Proposal Writer.

Experience writing Technical Volumes in support of Law Enforcement/IC customers preferred.

Experience in a broad array of technologies – having the ability to translate technical concepts into proposal solutions

Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain

Desired Qualifications:
