As we continue to expand our products, we are looking for a Contractor (with potential for hire) Technical Writer to create/maintain our client online help, internal documentation and overall consistent voice across our UI. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years experience in online technical writing, fundamental understanding of AP/AR, Cash Management and AI. This contractor position will report into Product Management, but will also work closely with Engineering and Customer Success teams.We are a diverse, distributed workforce in 8 countries across North and South America. When companies have strong cash flow performance, they can shift from short-term acrobatics to long-term growth and innovation. Our solutions enable our customers to maximize their cash flows through intelligent cash forecasting (Accounts Payable AP and Accounts Receivable AR) and AR Automation focused on reducing DSO.

Responsibilities

Create and manage product-related documentation including customer-facing Help Center articles and release notes, as well as functional specifications and flows for use by non-technical internal teams such as customer success, sales, and marketing

Develop a collection of onboarding materials to help new customers become proficient and successful with Tesorio (written documentation deployed via Pendo)

Partner with product managers and designers to build engagement and adoption of designated features through targeted in-app messaging (Pendo) and other channels

Leverage engineers, designers, and product managers to build a complete understanding of the capabilities and gaps for the full product suite and underlying platform

Ensure consistent voice in the UI inclusive of consistency of terminology

Work with Product Managers to research current customer feedback and usage to provide best in class user experience

Required Skills

Minimum 5 years experience in Technical Writing; experience in technical writing for Cash Management solutions is a plus

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Ability to listen to differing opinions and take constructive feedback

Willingness to ask questions and not rest until you have total clarity

Experience with training/instructional writing and UX writing a plus

Experience in researching as it relates to user experience
