The Role
We’re seeking a process-driven Collaboration Solutions Analyst Intern to join our IT/Digital Employee Experience Department. This is a Hybrid role, requiring office presence in San Jose, CA, and reporting to the Vice President- Digital Employee Experience.
The Collaboration Solution Analyst Intern will support the optimization and deployment of our internal communication and collaboration platforms, ensuring seamless productivity across global teams. This role involves gathering user requirements, assisting with testing, and creating documentation to drive high adoption of key tools like Slack, Zoom, and Google Workspace. You will directly contribute to enhancing team connectivity and operational efficiency by improving the user experience of essential enterprise applications.
What you’ll do (Role Expectations)
- User Requirements Gathering and Documentation: Interview cross-functional teams to capture specific needs, translating them into clear, concise functional requirements and user stories for collaboration platform enhancements.
- Documentation and Training Content Creation: Create high-quality, user-friendly documentation, training guides, and best practice playbooks for our enterprise collaboration suite to boost feature adoption and reduce support requests.
- Testing and Quality Assurance (QA): Assist with rigorous testing and QA of new features or updates across collaboration tools (e.g., integrations, security policies) before mass deployment, ensuring reliability and a seamless user experience.

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology (IT), Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Administration, or a related technical field.
- Practical working knowledge of leading enterprise collaboration platforms (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom).
- Proven ability to listen effectively, document user needs clearly, and communicate complex technical or functional concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Motivated self-starter with a passion for innovation and technology, focused on improving the digital employee experience.
What Will Make You Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Prior experience or coursework involving the administrative backend (e.g., security settings, user management) of an enterprise application like Microsoft Teams, Google Workspace, or Slack.
- Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) principles or experience using ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) to manage and resolve user support issues.

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.
