Overview

Zocdoc is seeking a Staff Software Engineer, Developer Platform to help design and scale our internal developer platform. You will enable product and infrastructure teams to ship high-quality software faster by building reliable tooling, APIs, and platform services.

What you'll do

Design and implement core platform services used by Zocdoc's product teams.
Build, maintain, and improve developer tooling, SDKs, CI/CD automation, and internal libraries.
Collaborate with product managers, platform engineers, and other stakeholders to drive platform improvements.
Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.

What we look for

Senior software engineer with strong distributed systems experience and ownership mindset.
Experience building developer platforms, internal tooling, or platform teams.
Proficient in at least one modern language (e.g., Python, Go, Java) and familiarity with cloud technologies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working in a remote-first environment.
