Zocdoc is seeking a Lead Employee Relations Partner to drive employee relations strategy, investigations, and policy development across the organization. You will partner with HR, Legal, and business leaders to resolve complex employee issues, shape policy, and foster a positive work environment at Zocdoc.
Overview
As the Lead Employee Relations Partner, you will provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, lead investigations, and ensure leadership teams are equipped with clear, compliant policies and processes. This role requires strong collaboration, excellent judgment, and a proactive approach to workplace culture and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage employee relations investigations and counsel on appropriate actions.
- Partner with HR, Legal, and business leaders to develop and refine HR policies and programs.
- Advise managers and executives on complex employee issues, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
- Develop scalable processes for investigations, conflict resolution, and policy enforcement.
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations across jurisdictions.
- Support organizational changes and workforce strategy initiatives with a focus on people impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in employee relations, HR, or a closely related area.
- Strong investigative, analytical, and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Experience supporting HR programs in a fast-paced tech environment is a plus.
