About the Role

The Senior Facilities Executive (Technical) will be responsible for supervising all day-to-day technical operations and maintenance activities related to building infrastructure, equipment, and facility services. This role ensures optimal performance of all critical systems, oversees vendor coordination, supports preventive maintenance schedules, and plays a key role in maintaining safety and compliance standards across the facility.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Operations & Maintenance
  • Supervise and coordinate all technical breakdown calls with multi-skilled technicians across shifts.
  • Ensure timely and effective completion of all minor and major maintenance tasks.
  • Operate and maintain:
  • LT and HT Electrical Panels
  • Air Handling Units (AHUs)
  • HVAC systems in coordination with Building Management Services (BMS)
  • UPS systems
  • Fire Alarm Systems (EST3)
  • Diesel Generators (DG sets)
  • Chillers and Cooling Towers
  • Building Management System (BMS)
  • Carry out preventive maintenance activities and ensure records are updated.
  • Maintain technical checklists, PPM reports, and daily maintenance logs.
  • Vendor & Asset Management
  • Coordinate with AMC vendors and provide necessary support during breakdowns/shutdowns.
  • Ensure all facility equipment is in working condition, with AMCs in place and active.
  • Liaise with building management and external vendors for day-to-day operational support.
  • Ensure compliance with MSDS and maintain facility technical data sheets.
  • Facility & Workplace Management
  • Conduct daily briefings and supervise housekeeping and security teams.
  • Inspect facility infrastructure regularly to identify issues or required maintenance.
  • Ensure facility upkeep, cleanliness, and operational readiness at all times.
  • Monitor overall performance of third-party service providers (security, housekeeping, etc.).
  • Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate tasks to technicians accordingly.
  • Oversee repair and maintenance of electrical appliances and general equipment.
  • Compliance & Safety
  • Ensure adherence to all safety guidelines and statutory requirements by staff and vendors.
  • Coordinate periodic fire drills, safety audits, and inspections as per compliance norms.
  • Implement energy-saving measures and suggest improvements in operational efficiency.
  • Skills

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, BMS, fire safety, and building infrastructure.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and standard operating procedures.
  • Good interpersonal and leadership skills to manage technicians and third-party vendors.
  • Proficient in MS Office and facilities management tools/software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience and Qualifications

  • Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in facilities technical operations, preferably in corporate or commercial real estate environments.
  • Flexible to work in rotational shifts and available for emergency support as required
