The Role:
We have a need for fast learning writers with a developer’s mindset, who are going to work alongside Engineering teams primarily, and also collaborate with L&D and TA. They will create accurate content for internal and external developers, write end-to-end product documentation, and produce engaging technical papers, blogs, etc., which will help encourage developers to write more actively. Additionally, this will provide relevant content for talent engagement through articles on Medium/Linkedin, etc.
They will work alongside L&D to fill the technical product training gaps; the material will be useful for onboarding new employees too.
Responsibilities Develop a deep understanding of our Product which will help you communicate highly complex technical concepts clearly and conciselyUnderstand technical concepts and use cases to cover them in depth in the documentationBe hands-on in terms of trying out the APIs and webhooks using various tools to have a first-hand understanding of the platform and its conceptsProduce high-quality technical documentation for Integration guides, Admin Guides and User Guides for our large Enterprise customersContribute to setting up processes around drafting, publishing, change management and KPI management for various documentation artefactsResearch various Saas documentations and arrive at a model and Information Architecture for various types of artefactsContribute to hiring and team buildingAssist the Customer Support function in building their knowledge baseBuild feedback loops for gathering feedback on the quality and usefulness of the artefacts produced Skills Engineer (B.E/ B.Tech) or MCALanguage proficiency - English Honors/MA English levelMedium-to-Expert proficiency in common CMS, authoring, and graphics tools such as, Adobe Suite, MS Suite, Google Docs Suite, Visio, Lucidcharts, Confluence, and so onExperience working with open-source languages and tools such as Git (Github/Bitbucket), Markdown, reStructuredText, Hugo (other static site generators)Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams with multiple stakeholders, across different time zonesProficient in HTMLFamiliar with CSSFamiliar with POSTMAN, SWAGGER, or similar API documentation generators Experience & Qualifications Engineer (preferably IT .
