At Yazio, we’re looking for a (Senior) People Manager who combines clarity, structure, and empathy in business partnering with a bias for action in a fast-moving, remote environment. This role is 100% remote and open to candidates based in Germany, Spain, Portugal, or the U.K. It will start as a 2 year contract with the option to extend as our team continues to grow.
YOUR MISSION
Manage core People processes across the entire employee lifecycle including onboarding, salary reviews and offboarding, ensuring they not only run smoothly but actively elevate clarity, performance, and team experience.
Partner closely with People Operations and Talent Acquisition providing a high quality team experience.
Act as a Business Partner, building strong working relationships across the company and offering thoughtful guidance on people decisions, team dynamics, and employee relations cases.
Translate business needs into people recommendations that balance fairness, ambition, compliance, and pragmatism
Work directly with People & Culture leadership to shape and implement our new Leadership Academy, contributing to concept, structure, and rollout support.
Promote transparent communication, psychological safety, and clear expectations — helping teams collaborate effectively across time zones.
Leverage AI tools to increase output, clarity and decision quality, while sharing your learnings with the team.
YOUR PROFILE
Several years of experience in a People Operations, People Management or HR Business Partner role in an international environment.
Deep knowledge of People processes, HRIS systems, labour law and compliance with special experience in leadership development initiatives
Proven ability to lead People projects from planning to rollout, guide stakeholders through change and bring structure to complex topics.
High emotional intelligence with strong conflict resolution and relationship building skills paired with clear, empathetic communication supporting alignment and transparency
Experience using AI tools to transform People workflows and a willingness to experiment, learn and share your insights with others.
Curious and entrepreneurial mindset: you think in systems, spot opportunities and challenge assumptions, bringing a data informed approach with the ability to define success and interpret trends
Business level German skills for administrative tasks and communication with German external stakeholders.
