RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for the

    Backpack platform

    .

  • Architect and evolvemicroservices-based systemsto support large-scale, high-performance operations.
  • Implement and optimizedatabase structuresand queries for maximum efficiency and reliability.
  • Ensure highavailability, performance, and fault toleranceacross distributed services.
  • Lead efforts to improveCI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and system observability.
  • Conductcode reviews, mentor team members, and foster a culture of engineering excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable and innovative solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement through automation, testing, and proactive system monitoring.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, adopting emerging technologies to enhance platform capabilities.

    • REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ yearsof professional experience inbackend development(Node.js, TypeScript, or similar).
  • Proven experience indesigning and maintaining microservices architectures.
  • Strong background inSQL and NoSQL databases, with hands-on experience inquery optimization.
  • In-depth knowledge ofRESTful APIs,event-driven systems, andasynchronous communication patterns.
  • Practical experience withDocker,Kubernetes, andCI/CD automation.
  • Solid understanding ofsoftware design principles,OOP, andclean architecture.
  • Familiarity withtesting frameworks(Jest, Mocha, or similar) andmonitoring tools(Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Experience working inAgile/Scrum environmentswith cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication skills, leadership qualities, and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in English for technical communication and documentation.

  • Experience withNestJS,GraphQL, orgRPC.
  • Background indistributed systems,caching layers, ormessage queues(Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Exposure togaming,fintech, ordigital asset platforms.
  • Previous experience mentoring or leading engineering teams
