Xometry is a leading on-demand manufacturing marketplace that connects customers with a broad network of suppliers. We’re looking for a Technical Account Manager to join our team in Detroit in a hybrid work environment.
Role Overview
As a Technical Account Manager, you will be the technical advocate for a portfolio of strategic customers, ensuring successful adoption and ongoing value of Xometry’s platform. You will collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges, drive onboarding, and help customers realize measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical advisor for assigned customers, guiding onboarding, implementation, and ongoing success.
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and translate business goals into Xometry capabilities.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with Product, Engineering, and Support teams to resolve incidents with clear communication.
- Lead customer trainings, provide best practices, and drive adoption across the customer’s organization.
- Monitor health metrics, usage, and renewal risk; identify and pursue expansion opportunities.
- Gather customer feedback and partner with product teams to influence roadmap and product enhancements.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in a technical account management, customer success, or solutions engineering role.
- Experience with SaaS platforms, APIs, integrations, or manufacturing marketplaces.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to executives.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and basic data analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
