Senior Solutions Engineer

Job Description

Xometry is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer for a hybrid role in Tampa, Florida. In this technical pre-sales/solutions role, you will partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering to understand customer manufacturing needs, design scalable solutions on the Xometry platform, deliver product demonstrations, respond to technical inquiries, and guide ERP/CRM integrations through REST APIs. This position involves collaborating with customers from initial discovery through implementation, with occasional travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions with prospective customers to understand manufacturing requirements
• Deliver tailored product demonstrations and proofs-of-concept
• Architect end-to-end solutions using Xometry’s marketplace for customer needs
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to scope engagements and respond to RFPs
• Provide technical guidance on API integrations, data exchange formats (JSON), and ERP/CRM connections (e.g., Salesforce, SAP)
• Create and present technical proposals, ROI analyses, and implementation plans
• Support customers during onboarding and integration of Xometry APIs with their ERP/CRM systems
• Stay current with manufacturing technologies and Xometry product roadmap

Requirements

• 5+ years in solutions engineering, pre-sales, or equivalent
• Strong experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services
• Proficiency in SQL; experience with Python or JavaScript
• Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems; ERP integration experience
• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment and travel as needed
