Senior Solutions Engineer – Role Overview

As a Senior Solutions Engineer at Xometry, you will partner with the sales team to understand customer requirements, design scalable solutions, and articulate the technical value of Xometry’s platform. You will help customers evaluate product fit, drive adoption, and ensure successful integrations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales teams to qualify opportunities and define technical requirements.
• Proactively design solution architectures that meet customer needs and timelines.
• Demonstrate product feasibility and performance through technical demos and trials.
• Guide customers through API integrations, data exchange, and workflow automation.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to communicate customer feedback and influence roadmap.
• Provide guidance on security, compliance, and integration best practices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of solutions engineering, pre-sales, or technical consultancy experience, preferably in manufacturing or SaaS.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders.
• Experience with API integrations, data mapping, and systems integration.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, ERP/MMS systems, or PLM tools is a plus.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment and travel as needed.
