The Senior Director, Manual Quoting will lead the manual quoting function, shaping pricing strategy, quote accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration to support profitable growth and scalable operations.

Role Overview

As the Senior Director, Manual Quoting, you will oversee the manual quoting organization, partnering with Sales, Product, Finance, and Operations to optimize quote workflows, drive pricing discipline, and improve win rates for complex, custom quotes. This is a strategic leadership role focused on process excellence, coaching, and cross-functional influence across the company.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Manual Quoting function and define pricing processes, guidelines, and success metrics.
• Develop and implement pricing strategy for custom quotes across multiple product lines.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Finance to deliver accurate, timely quotes.
• Drive process improvements and automation where appropriate while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
• Manage and mentor a team of quoting professionals; recruit, develop, and retain talent.
• Analyze quote performance, pipeline metrics, and win/loss data to inform strategy.
• Partner with leadership to align pricing with company goals and go-to-market strategy.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior leadership roles overseeing quoting, pricing, or sales operations.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking with a track record of driving process improvements.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
• Experience with large-scale pricing projects and cross-border quoting (if applicable).
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Location & Work Model

Hybrid role based in Waltham, MA. This position follows a hybrid work model combining remote work with in-office collaboration.
