Overview
Xometry is a leading on-demand manufacturing marketplace connecting customers with vetted manufacturers for rapid prototyping and production. As a Senior Account Executive, Federal, you will drive new business with federal agencies and expand strategic relationships. You will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored manufacturing solutions.
Responsibilities
- Source and close new federal government customers; develop a robust sales pipeline.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including discovery, solution presentation, pricing, proposals, and contract negotiations.
- Build and execute territory and account plans to meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Collaborate with Solutions Engineers, Product, and Marketing to tailor Xometry’s offerings to government procurement needs.
- Maintain accurate CRM data, forecast, and reporting; provide regular updates to leadership.
- Navigate federal procurement processes and contract vehicles; ensure compliance throughout the sales cycle.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of federal sales or account management experience with a proven quota track record.
- Deep knowledge of federal procurement processes, policies, and contract vehicles (e.g., GSA schedules).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; ability to travel as needed.
