Role Overview
Xometry is seeking a Senior Account Executive, Federal to drive revenue growth with U.S. federal government customers. This remote role is based in North America and requires strong experience in federal government sales, strategic account management, and contract negotiation. You will own the federal sales cycle from prospecting to closing, develop relationships with procurement officers and program managers, and collaborate with product, compliance, and delivery teams to offer compliant manufacturing solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for federal accounts within North America.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue opportunities with federal agencies; manage the full sales cycle from lead to close.
- Respond to RFPs, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and secure multi-year commitments.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with procurement officers, program managers, and other key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with product, legal, compliance, and delivery teams to ensure solutions meet customer needs and regulatory requirements.
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets; provide accurate sales forecasting.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal procurement processes (FAR/DFARS) and relevant contract vehicles.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of federal government sales or related experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas.
- Strong understanding of federal procurement processes, FAR/DFARS, and contract negotiation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Bachelor's degree; advanced degree a plus.
- Ability to travel as needed to engage with customers and attend meetings.
- Active security clearance is a plus.
