Manufacturing Solutions Engineer

Overview

Xometry is seeking a Manufacturing Solutions Engineer to support customers in designing, quoting, and manufacturing parts through Xometry’s on-demand manufacturing platform. This hybrid role is based in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to translate design intent into manufacturable parts using Xometry’s marketplace and APIs.

• Guide customers through quoting and ordering, including API integrations where applicable.
\n
• Provide technical support and onboarding to ensure successful production runs.
\n
• Partner with sales, engineering, and supplier teams to resolve issues and optimize solutions.
\n
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive customer success.
\n

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
\n
• 3+ years in manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, or a technical sales role.
\n
• Familiarity with CAD software, manufacturing processes, materials, and tolerances.
\n
• Knowledge of API integrations and data-driven quoting workflows is a plus.
\n
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
