Applications Engineer, Tube Bending — Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales, design, and manufacturing to understand customer requirements and translate them into workable tube bending solutions.
- Support quoting and engineering change processes, including process development, tooling selection, and fixturing recommendations.
- Optimize manufacturing processes for accuracy, efficiency, and cost effectiveness; participate in root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance to customers during design reviews, prototyping, and production ramp-up.
- Document procedures, specifications, and test results; contribute to knowledge base and training materials.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field; equivalent practical experience considered.
- Experience with tube bending processes, fixtures, tooling, and material selection.
- Familiarity with CAD tools and manufacturing documentation; strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Los Angeles, balancing on-site and remote activities.
