Applications Engineer, Tube Bending — Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid).

Responsibilities

Collaborate with sales, design, and manufacturing to understand customer requirements and translate them into workable tube bending solutions.
Support quoting and engineering change processes, including process development, tooling selection, and fixturing recommendations.
Optimize manufacturing processes for accuracy, efficiency, and cost effectiveness; participate in root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide technical guidance to customers during design reviews, prototyping, and production ramp-up.
Document procedures, specifications, and test results; contribute to knowledge base and training materials.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field; equivalent practical experience considered.
Experience with tube bending processes, fixtures, tooling, and material selection.
Familiarity with CAD tools and manufacturing documentation; strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Los Angeles, balancing on-site and remote activities.
