Role Overview

Applications Engineer, Tube Bending – Denver (Hybrid).

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers to understand tube bending requirements (materials, diameters, wall thickness, tolerances).
  • Spec and select tooling/fixtures, program and set up tube bending equipment, and optimize processes for quality and efficiency.
  • Interpret drawings and specifications, provide manufacturing guidance, and support quotes with accurate lead times and costs.
  • Coordinate with design, engineering, and sourcing teams to ensure manufacturability and timely delivery.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement continuous improvement using lean methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with tube bending processes (mandrel bending, tooling, etc.).
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar).
  • Knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing tolerances.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Location & Work Model

Denver, Hybrid work arrangement.
