You will be a technical advisor to customers, helping them translate requirements into manufacturable designs and accurate quotes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes and drive customer success.

What you will do

• Act as the technical liaison for customers evaluating Xometry's manufacturing services.
• Assess design for manufacturability (DFM) and recommend processes (CNC, 3D printing, injection molding, etc.).
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Supplier teams to provide timely quotes and technical support.
• Create detailed manufacturability assessments, select materials, and propose optimal processes.
• Assist onboarding and support customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide product feedback to inform roadmap and improve user experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing, design, or engineering support.
• Proficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360 or similar).
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes (CNC milling/turning, 3D printing, injection molding, sheet metal).
• Understanding of design for manufacturability (DFM) and GD&T principles.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and remote collaboration skills.
